Just expressing this to the church at large, not just our area--

has the suffering, underground body of Christ in China, Russia, Iran, Indonesia,etc., kept lists of those they feed and help? I doubt it...

Oscar Schindler kept a different kind of list, in his desperation to save the precious lives of Jews from the satanic Nazi killing machine, giving everything he had, nearly bringing himself to ruin.

As a former worship leader and church staff member, you should hear the 'pastoral' conversations I've witnessed over the years, complaining about the poor "taking advantage" of churches in our area--profoundly disturbing.

Yep. Those poor people really are taking advantage of those church members' offerings-- uh-hummmmm. And what percentage of your GROSS ANNUAL INCOME do you put in the plate during worship? 10%...3%... 2%... 1%...? And did you decrease your offerings during the holidays to make yours a bit merrier?

I THOUGHT JESUS' METHODS AND MISSION WAS REVOLUTIONARY ENOUGH, BROTHERS AND SISTERS...if according to MT. 25, we are feeding the Lord HIMSELF, then we might want to be a bit more generous and grace-based.

"Lord, Lord, when did we feed YOU ?"

Just counting the cost of rightly dividing the word of truth, friends...anything less is the church of Laodicea: the lukewarm will be spewed out of His mouth. God have mercy on us all.

He knows those who are after His heart and love not their lives unto death.
